I use these in my classroom. The students each have one in their desks and they put their papers in them when they are copying their writing to final draft form. They are also great for holding up directions or writing prompts for students to keep their desks clear for writing journals.

its small enough to hold atleast 5 sheets of paper at a time. Doesnt take too much space on your desk. You can shake it sort of like a crystal ball. its really cute
