Most offices prefer having wholesale office furniture and place bulk orders to further hire an interior decorator to place things in right way. This is almost a global phenomenon for new office furniture, as this is suitable the same nature of workplaces everywhere. Multiple cubicles have taken over the mantle from separate cabins.
Just by putting in a little bit of imagination and layout vision, the office can well be made out to look almost different from the rest.

It is rather unfortunate to observe that interior decoration and office furniture layout of modern offices are being increasingly approached in a disjointed way. Most offices place bulk orders for furniture and then leave it to an interior decorator to set out the workplace. This approach is perhaps largely responsible for workplaces that seem one and the same. For instance, modern offices all over the globe now feature multiple cubicles instead of separate cabins. This mechanical trend also seems to adversely affect the vitality of a work place. With a little bit of creativity and layout-sense, you can easily make your office stand out from the rest.

Office furniture has come a long way in the last one hundred years.
Looking back to Victorian offices, solid pine desks and drawers would have been stained to look like oak or mahogany. This was because the harder woods were very expensive but the Victorians held a lot of store by first impressions.
So, hefty great bits of furniture were brought into offices and set off with sumptuous looking buttoned leather chairs. Elaborate Oriental style rugs and tasselled curtains were also present to aid with warmth but more for the said impression.
